The traditional manufacturing of medical tubes cannot adapt to the growth in the current medical consumables market due to its inconsistent quality performance and low productivity caused by high risks of contamination during the process and the manual assembly that is costly and labor-intensive.Against the above backdrop, Maider has independently developed the automatic production line for medical catheters, an industry-leading intelligent manufacturing system for medical consumables, mainly consisting of extruders and pipe cutters. This system possesses the capacity for flexible production. It will adapt to materials such as PP, PE, PVC, TPV, PEEK, FEP, POM, and PC, by utilizing various designs, and meanwhile, the process will be controlled by a servo driving system that automatically switches to produce the above materials at different lengths. Thus, medical catheters of varied specifications, as required by our clients, will be available based on the system. This production line, using quality components from leading suppliers in the industry, attains a highly automatic manufacturing process through multiple special machinery and process designs. As it may produce medical catheters of various specifications efficiently and stably, Maider has received bulk purchase orders from numerous medical enterprises worldwide.

Features
Full automation. In contrast to the traditional manufacturing that relies on manual assembly, this production line is fully automatic, thus significantly improving productivity
Superior accuracy/yield rate. The plasticizing effects are enhanced by adopting dedicated barrel screws for medical catheters with higher length-to-diameter ratios, and a zone temperature control system with high-accuracy is applied. The plasticizing capacity and stability of extruded products are therefore significantly optimized. Furthermore, a water tank cooling system with weak negative vacuum pressure is utilized to ensure the circularity of the outer diameters of the extruded tubes at high speeds and improve the accuracy of product dimensions. The high-accuracy adhesion/assembly also leads to a significant increase in the yield rate
Superior stability. The adoption of imported gearboxes delivers high rigidity, high accuracy, high torque, and low noise; the technique of non-leakage oil seal reduces risks of oil leakage, and thus its service life has more than doubled; the driving system directly connects with gearboxes and high-end servo motors, making screw speed more accurate, minimizing dust pollution due to belt drive and fluctuations of product dimensions caused by different screw speeds because of belt slipping, and mitigating noise. All these changes lead to superior stability
Easy maintenance. The hosts adopt maintenance-free motors and speed reducers with hard gear surface and high accuracy via direct connection to protect themselves from dust and significantly cut down maintenance workload
